The Wedding season 2022 has been incredible and that’s why I (Max) want to share with you one of my favorite weddings of this season: Isabel & Bojan were married in a Serb-orthodox church in the middle of Zurich City in Switzerland in May. They celebrated with all of their loved ones at the very special and unique “Badi Enge” which is an open-air swimming pool by day and an Event Location by night - right within the Lake of Zurich.

Before we head to their wedding day, I firstly want to share some things about Isabel & Bojan. They have stolen my heart from day 1 and I think they will steal yours too:
Despite Bojan and Isabel having worked together for more than a year, they first officially met after Brojan’s laptop broke. This seemingly unlucky incident is what allowed the two to have a proper conversation and shortly after the incident, the two realized that they had a lot in common and quickly became friends. How beautiful is it to look back and think this love story started from a broken laptop?

Bojan was immediately drawn to Isabel’s power and positivity. For Bojan, Isabel was someone who could turn his bad days around in an instant. Meanwhile, Isabel really appreciates the support they give one another. She firmly believes that she never would have achieved as much without Bojan pushing her. These two have such a close and beautiful bond, all while still being able to enjoy the freedoms they give one another.

About their Wedding

The Wedding Colors were very much decided by the locations. Once the ceremony - which was mostly red because it was a special church - and then the cocktail hour and reception venue was very water based due to it being right next/on top a lake so everything was very predefined. Which means that the colors were mostly white and natural like described in the Florals & Devor part. The Wedding Gown Isa was wearing was such a stunner. She even had a cape that she was able to take off for the more relaxed part like the cocktail hour and the reception.

The Florals and Decor was designed to compliment the venue. Very open, easy going and fresh. The venue was outdoor and on the Lake of Zurich. So they worked with a lot of white tones and nothing too hectic to not make the space feel to crowded. The Food & Drinks were like the couple itself: very relaxed and accomendating. The Cocktail Hour had some Canapés and let everyone meet and greet - chat and have a good time.

The Dinner at the Badi Enge was a little more special: they had a big buffet. The highlight though? They organised a Bar and a Bar man that can do signature drinks all night long. That was such a nice touch and the line for the bar was always packed because the guests loved it as well!

After the dinner was done, they have rearranged the dinning area and there was a dance floor underneath their disco ball and underneath the free Zurich sky. It was magical.
